Feeling ready for a delicious meal? It’s time to head over to historic downtown, where you’ll find an array of unforgettable dining experiences fit for a bride. Here are a few of our favorite local eats worth checking out:

Castillo Craft Bar + Kitchen offers adventurous eaters a chance to try flavors that surprise and delight, while our more selective guests will find familiar favorites done in the most delicious ways.

Forgotten Tonic is a hidden neighborhood gem located in the heart of St. Augustine’s historic art district. Their menu offers American comfort food, an extensive wine list, hand-crafted cocktails & captivating Southern hospitality.

A1A Ale Works is found along downtown’s waterfront. Their relaxed and inviting atmosphere, attentive service, long list of Florida-crafted beers, and fresh coastal eats create a great dining experience. Some of our menu favorites include the Grilled Seafood Paella and Key Lime Shrimp Linguine

 

Day 2: Historic Explorations

Now that you’ve gotten your beauty sleep, it’s time to explore some of   St. Augustine’s iconic historic sites, while adding in a few delicious eats to keep you fueled up for the adventurous day ahead.

Start with a decadent brunch and bubbly at the Ancient City Brunch Bar. This St. George Street cafe offers customized brunch on a board or in a box for dining in or takeaway. With a wide array of signature breakfast sandwiches, French toast, waffles, and more on their menu, you’re sure to find something delicious worth indulging in. 

After you’ve enjoyed your delicious French toast and vanilla latte, be sure to round the corner and tour the famous Lightner Museum and Flagler College. Both historic sites are STAPLES to St. Augustine’s history and charm. Don’t forget to take a stroll down downtown and shop some of the local stores like Red Pineapple, Two Sparrows, 360 Boutique, and more.

It’s time to head back over to the island where you’ll freshen up at the hotel before heading to a quaint dinner. But before you settle in to get ready, we highly recommend taking in the breathtaking view at one of St. Augustine’s iconic sites, the St. Augustine Lighthouse, located 2 minutes down the road from The Local.

Now that you’ve soaked in all of the Ancient City’s charm, it’s time to indulge in a delish meal overlooking the beautiful Salt Run. St. Augustine Fish House & Oyster Co offers live music on their outdoor deck and a huge variety of inspired cocktails. There’s no doubt that this sunset and dinner will be a highlight of your trip.

Day 3: Coastal Retreat

It’s time to soak up some of Florida’s spectacular sunshine, and you’re in luck! Your stay at The Local – St. Augustine is only 6 minutes away from St. Augustine’s beaches.

With a long day spent at the beach, there’s nothing better than a delicious meal by the water. Here are a few of our favorite waterfront dining spots to wrap up your bachelorette celebration in St. Augustine:

Beachcomber St. Augustine is a casual dining experience directly on the beach of Anastasia Island. Their menu includes an assortment of “street tacos”, sandwiches, fresh local seafood, and Tropical Island drink concoctions.

The Conch House Marina Resort is within walking distance of the hotel, where you’ll find Caribbean-style cooking, offering the finest fresh seafood, pasta dishes, and vibrant salads.​ Enjoy your dinner and drinks while sitting under a palm tree on the outside deck or dine in one of their unique Jamaican-style grass huts over the water while overlooking the beautiful Salt Run.​
